Cockadoodle DOO! What’s Good for the Environment is Good for UVM Athletics.

Portsmouth, NH and Burlington, VT—April 27, 2005

Pure Barnyard, Inc., home of the Cockadoodle DOO brand of organic lawn and garden fertilizer and organic weed control, and the University of Vermont Athletics announced today the start of a fund-raising program. Pure Barnyard will donate $1 from the sales of every bag of its Cockadoodle DOO Super-Premium Organic Lawn & Garden Fertilizer and Super-Premium Organic Weed control sold at 4 Seasons Garden Center in Williston, VT and Gardener’s Supply Company in  Burlington and Williston VT.                           

Pure Barnyard founder and President, John Packard, is an alumnus of University of Vermont, UVM Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, and former Chairman of the UVM Fund. He stated, “This fund raising program will provide for continued financial support for the University Athletics program and help create additional awareness of our Cockadoodle DOO brand of lawn and garden products. We offer already enlightened Vermont consumers an alternative to chemicals with an effective, easy to use organic product that works amazingly well on lawns and gardens”.
